American Open Martial Arts Championships is a multidiscipline martial arts international championship tournament featuring NASKA World Black Belt Divisions, NASKA/AKA Under Belt Divisions, Kung Fu Magazine.com Championship Chinese Divisions, and American Open Japanese, Korean, and Kenpo Traditional Empty Hand Forms Divisions. 600 Total Divisions.

The Event has received top national sanctions from NASKA,AKA,TPA,IMAC,SMAA, and is structured to appeal to the national competitor, the novice and their families alike. The AKA American Open Martial Arts Championships is a spectator friendly event, open to the public that will culminate to a spectacular nighttime show featuring the overall grand championship competition and performances by some of the most recognized martial artists and performance teams in the world.

The promoter has enlisted the talents and expertise from some of the most qualified and experienced, collectively having nearly 90 years running tournaments. The American Karate Association (AKA), USA Freestyle Martial Arts, and Kung Fu Tai Chi Magazine, who all are working closely with the San Diego and Southern California area martial arts community and schools to put on a truly magnificent event.

The event is being held at the beautiful Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in Mission Valley, the heart of San Diego and the center of our community's transportation systems.
